Kevin McGee (Band/Orchestra Director) began teaching in the public schools nearly 30 years ago. Over 20 of those years have been spent in the Corona-Norco Unified School District where he is now Co-Director of The BOSS (The Bands & Orchestras of Santiago Sharks). As a teacher, Mr. McGee has participated in three Rose Parades, three performances in Carnegie Hall, plus performances in Honolulu, Hilo, Chicago, San Francisco, Washington D.C, and various other cities across the United States. Mr. McGee was selected as the Teacher of the Year at Citrus Hills Intermediate School and for the Corona-Norco Unified School District in 2013.

Mr. McGee performs as the Principal Percussionist in the Corona Symphony. During his performing career he has the opportunity to perform in several countries and with a wide variety of artists including The Canadian Brass, Burt Bacharach, David Benoit, Michael Cavanaugh, Mariachi Reyna de Los Angeles, Mindi Abair, Brian Culbertson, Ron Carter, and Alfredo Ortiz. Mr. McGee also has been connected with Disneyland Entertainment for over 20 years. He now works as a stage manager for groups such the Disneyland Band, the Pearly Band and the Dapper Dans.

Mr. McGee is the father of four awesome people (Ryan, Kyle, Luke, and Lainey) and is married to the amazing, supportive, and extremely patient Sarah McGee.

Mr. McGee earned his Bachelor of Music from Arizona State University (1993) and his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from National University (2001).
