JASON ARTZ

Bassoon

Jason has been a member of the Corona Symphony Orchestra since 2009, and in 2011, he performed Nino Rota’s Concerto for Bassoon with the orchestra.

Jason has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Bassoon Performance from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and also attended the Eastman School of Music. His principal teachers included Steve Ades, Richard Beene, and John Hunt.

Jason currently works as an aerospace engineer and lives in Wrightwood, California with his wife and two children.
