  • Moved around a lot in US while growing up
  • Longest we lived anywhere was 3 yrs/shortest was 3 months
  • 1970 we came back to CA
  • Met Tom thru mutual school friends; married 45 yrs
  • 3 adult sons – all married with 2 kids each – total of 6 fabulous grandkids love very much

  • Beaumont City corruption case
  • Corona cases included: Saranani homicides case /2 nephews killed / one encased in concrete and brought to Corona
  • Kilworth quincinera party shooting – gang members / 3 LA Co gangs – 8 brought to trial
  • Turpin Kids case / financial analysis / daughter’s diary analysis

• Bachelor of Science – professional studies – better gov’t effectiveness / efficiency

Planning Commission

• Now in 8th year / appointed by Council Member Jim Steiner
• Served as his campaign manager twice
• Currently running my own campaign for District 4 – Jim won’t be running

MIC – Make It Cozy Program

• Founded during COVID – after becoming ‘immersed in Corona homelessness
  • Understand Corona’s problems / dynamics
  • Was asked to assist w/ City’s new program / community outreach / SP / policy
  • Volunteer capacity until Mercy House policies no longer allowed me to collect / manage finances w/out being an employee / 2 years now
