Close to you
Do you know the way to San Jose — er, Riverside? Burt Bacharach does.

The songwriting legend teams up with the Corona Symphony Pops on Feb. 12 for a performance at the Fox Performing Arts Center.
Bacharach, a Grammy and Oscar-winning songwriter, is best known for tunes such as “I Say a Little Prayer for You,” “(They Long to Be) Close to You,” “Do You Know the Way to San Jose” and “Walk On By.”
He’s also familiar to younger audiences thanks to a guest spot on “American Idol,” collaborations with Elvis Costello and his appearances in the “Austin Powers” series of movies.
8 p.m. Feb. 12, Fox Performing Arts Center, 3801 Mission Inn Ave., Riverside, 951-779-9800, $55-$89, $129 for VIP seats, available through Ticketmaster or at the Fox box office. Visit www.foxriversidelive.com for more information.
